Henry T. Gaspard, Black Arrows Founder and Chairman, was honored at the recent London Sports Awards held at Indigo at The 02 on Thursday 19th January 2017. Henry was awarded “Volunteer of the Year”, which recogonises the work of an individual who has made a positive contribution to physical activity and sport through volunteering.
This years awards received in excess of 340 nominations for the various award categories, with 3 shortlisted for each award.
Henry’s award was to acknowledge over 30 years of volunteering in helping to establish Black Arrows Badminton Club as one of the leading clubs in London for Badminton Development, and for his wider involvement in Badminton development across London.
